Institute of Japanese Traditional Colors is an organization located in Sapporo, Japan. We study application of Japanese traditional colors to various fields, and instruct how to use these colors effectively. Japanese traditional colors represent sophisticated taste of Japanese people. For example, in Edo era (17-19 cent.) there was a word "48 browns". The Edo people enjoyed such a delicate difference in brown colors. We provide (in Sapporo) several classes for people who have interests in Japanese traditional colors. (Please look at our blog for the latest information.)
